I'm learning new things every day which is a surprise since, when I was younger, I thought that by the time someone was 50, they knew everything. It isn't so. And 50 doesn't seem so old anymore, either ;-) I'm on a self-imposed course of improvement and knowledge seeking.

I'm glad you didn't have your camera along for snake viewing. The only thing worse around here than snake pictures are spider ones! I don't think you've been guilty of that.
Honestly Rose, I've heard similar things from lots of people and I really didn't know why. The photo was taken by my last love and two minutes before I'd been laughing. The relationship had just hit a wall and in my guts, I knew it was over. Photos are one dimensional and the sunglasses were to keep strangers out. I absolutely detest violence. However, I'm not a stranger to it but it's the last line of defense.
